Dropshipping

Dropshipping is the process of delivering goods directly from Vendors to customers, which means that the product does not transit through your stock.

So firstly enable Dropshipping. Go to Purchase module- Configuration- Setting- Under logistics enable Dropshipping and Save changes. When you enable this, you can find the route dropshipping in the product.

Now go to any product, say Acoustic block screen (in this case), and tick the route drop shipping under the inventory tab of the product form and save changes. Under the purchase, the tab adds vendors. So when you create a sale order, the product will be sent to the customer directly by the vendor. This is what happens in dropshipping.

In odoo 13 when a sale order is confirmed, a Purchase RFQ is created automatically and We have to process the RFQ from the purchase module itself, and only after that delivery tab appears in the sale order. But what differs in Odoo 14 is that whenever the sale order is confirmed, the purchase RFQ is sent and that purchase RFQ can be accessed from the sale order itself. That is a tab ‘Purchase’ that will appear once the sale order is confirmed. This will make things more flexible.
